Cheer 2026 - Fall 2026

AYFCA offers sideline cheer for participants in PreK (4 yrs by 9/1) to 12U. Register in the age offering your cheer participant will align to based on their age as of 9/1/2026 - sibling alignment requests that are entered during registration will be done separately by the volunteer Cheer Director. You do not register the cheerleader in the sibling's age division - your cheerleader will only have the offering open based on her age/DOB. You will enter the sibling's division in the appropriate sibling field and the volunteer cheer director will be verifying those and realigning siblings internally prior to drafts. You will also need to have an image of your cheerleaders Birth Certificate and a current water or electric bill to upload during registration. The utility bill must include the home address, billing date and parents name in the image.

Flag Cheer is 5U, 6U, and 7U (must be 4-7 years old by 9/1/26). 4 year olds can only cheer with a sibling within flag - others in flag can cheer up to two divisions with siblings (5U to 7U and 6U to 8U). Tackle Cheer is 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U or 12U - 7U thru 12U only can cheer up for/with siblings in any offering. No cheerleader can be older than 6th Grade & must be under 13 by 9/1/26. Cheer teams will be drafted and we do not take coach, rideshare or friend requests. We encourage you to register to coach as we are always needing more parents than we have initially volunteer. You can add on volunteer registration when registering your cheerleader by simply adding another transaction and choosing your own profile for the enrollment. Cheerleaders are encouraged to attend every practice. Typically, there are 2 practices per week. Practice attendance may determine participation in specific Game Day performances. Skill related performances will be at the discretion of the coach i.e., stunts, tumbling, and complex material/routines.

Cheer registration is $110 for 2026. The 2025 Style Cheer Uniform is required. We will have poms available as loaners with a check deposit, as well as new and used poms available for purchase. Megaphones are the same as prior years and can be purchased separately. 

Flag Football 2026 - Fall 2026

Flag Football is set up for 5U, 6U, and 7U divisions, players should be minimum of 4 to play in 5U flag.  If your player will be 8 years old on or before 9/1/26 they will need to enroll in tackle football.

For Flag please have your players photo/headshot, birth certificate and a current utility bill to show proof of residency in AISD or proof of enrollment in AISD if not residing in AISD boundary.  Note: If you have a participant in cheer and you want them to be together, you will input that request in the cheer registration form (See Cheer Info menu for details/exclusions). Participant regular enrollment will close on April 30th at 11:59 pm. Late registration for additional $150 fee may be open thru 5/15 if space is available. Registration has been reduced to accommodate the required purchase of flag helmets for all players in 2026. Flag Helmets must be black. 

Coaches: You may enroll for this season while also enrolling your player(s). Coaches who do not have players to enroll, click the button to register as a volunteer for your desired position.  All coaches will be interviewed and voted on by the volunteer AYFCA board, those selected must also complete a background check that will be sent at a later date. If you do not register to coach we don't know you want to.  

Tackle Football 2026 - Fall 2026

Tackle football divisions are age pure up & your player will play based on age restrictions as of 9/1/26 date.  Please have these documents ready to upload during registration: 1. Player headshot 2. Birth Certificate 3. AISD report card or class schedule 4. Current electric or water bill showing address & parent name.  Please see home page for examples of documents required. Do not contact the school you have access to all. 

Tackle offering.  Tackle divisions for 2026 are: 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, & 12U; 

Note: If you have a participant in cheer & you want them to be together, you will input that request in the cheer registration form (See Cheer Info menu for details/exclusions). Participant regular enrollment will close on April 30th at 11:59 pm. Late fee thru May 15 is an additional $225.  If you are new/moving to Aledo & do not have residency/attendance documents yet, email us at contact@aledoyouthfootball.org to discuss further.  

Coaches: You may enroll for this season while also enrolling your player(s).  If you do not register to coach we don't know you want to.
