Tackle Football: AYFCA will join the newly formed United North Texas Youth Football Association (UNTX) for the 2026 tackle football season. The league is made up of 15 associations across the DFW Metroplex.

Flag Football: AYFCA will launch the Aledo Youth Flag Football League, with all flag football games played in Aledo.

Registration for 2026 tackle football, flag football, and cheer opens Wednesday, April 1st.

Regular fall season registration for Aledo Youth Football & Cheer is open from 4/1 thru 4/30 each year

Please make note of this on your calendar.

We offer sideline Cheer as well as Flag football for kids 4 - 7 years old and Tackle football for kids 7 years old thru 6th Grade based on age as of 9/1 of the current year see details in the links below or under the corresponding information menus above.

Our program is for players that either live in the AISD community or attend AISD schools only.

Please make a reminder note on your calendar each year for April 1st thru 30th! We keep registration open for the full month of April and send out multiple reminders to prior participants during open enrollment as well as post here and on our Facebook Page at Aledo Youth Football. Please review our FAQ menu above for answers to all your questions! PLEASE NOTE: @hotmail.com is flagging all system group emails as spam. Head Coach Volunteers must be registered as well - interviews will be scheduled with the Volunteer Board prior to selection. If you are interested in being a head coach please register by the same deadline as players. AYFCA is a 501c3 Organization and we cannot do this without our parent coach volunteers! Assistant Coaches are selected by the Head Coach at/after drafts and all badged assistant coaches will also have to complete registration and background checks.

Tackle Football 2026 - Fall 2026

Tackle football divisions are age pure up & your player will play based on age restrictions as of 9/1/26 date. Please have these documents ready to upload during registration: 1. Player headshot 2. Birth Certificate 3. AISD report card or class schedule 4. Current electric or water bill showing address & parent name. Please see home page for examples of documents required. Do not contact the school you have access to all.

Tackle offering. Tackle divisions for 2026 are: 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, & 12U;

Note: If you have a participant in cheer & you want them to be together, you will input that request in the cheer registration form (See Cheer Info menu for details/exclusions). Participant regular enrollment will close on April 30th at 11:59 pm. Late fee thru May 15 is an additional $225. If you are new/moving to Aledo & do not have residency/attendance documents yet, email us at contact@aledoyouthfootball.org to discuss further.

Coaches: You may enroll for this season while also enrolling your player(s). If you do not register to coach we don't know you want to.
